Riverside Community College District – Culinary School / District Offices & Coil School for the Arts

Riverside, CA. – West Tech Mechanical, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent completion of the Riverside Community College District’s Culinary School / District Administration Building and Henry Coil School for the Arts. West Tech Mechanical, Inc. was chosen as the mechanical contractor for the $80 million dollar complex spanning over 35,000 SF. The facility includes the 4 story district offices housing administrative offices and meeting space. Over 385 Tons of HVAC systems were installed along with boilers, refrigeration pipe, and state of the art building automation systems with the ability to be controlled via computer or smart device onsite or remotely.

The RCC Culinary Arts Academy will offer professional quality demonstration and teaching kitchens, a bakery, classrooms, and a public dining room where culinary students can gain experience and the community can sample delicious fare. The four-story building will also house key district offices, and feature a unique rooftop garden setting.

The Henry W. Coil, Sr. & Alice Edna Coil School for the Arts will showcase education and performances. Amidst the state-of-the-art instrumental labs, recording rooms, and classrooms will be the city’s first mid-size concert hall, suitable for individual artists, quartets, ensembles or even full orchestras. The soaring two-story, pitch-perfect space will seat 450 guests, and accommodate a wide range of performing arts.
